I provide psychiatric consultation and medication management services, specializing in pregnancy and new parenthood. I am a nurse-midwife, psychiatric nurse practitioner and psychotherapist. I provide mental health care during all aspects of family building. This includes but is not limited to preconception planning, families struggling with infertility, postpartum parents, as well as those surviving pregnancy, infant or child loss. I also provide specialty consultation and management for psychiatric medications and pregnancy and breastfeeding.
I currently see clients in collaboration with Boro Park Ob/Gyn and Midwifery in their Williamsburg office. You do not need to be a patient of this practice in order to work with me. I also see clients on Mondays in Manhattan at 28th Street and Park Avenue. I am out of network for all insurance companies, and will provide an invoice that can be submitted to your insurance company.
I facilitate a weekly group for pregnant or postpartum clients struggling with depression and/or anxiety. The group meets every Sunday from 4 to 6 PM. Payment is by donation. Please call or email for more information. Babies are welcome in the group. New clients are welcome to start the group at any time.

I attended nursing school at NYU, then received a Master’s in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University, and a Post Master’s in Psychiatric Nursing from NYU. I have a broad range of nursing experience, and ten years of experience as a midwife. I have delivered over 700 babies. In the course of that experience I decided to focus on an area where I saw the greatest gap in women’s health care, perinatal mental health.
For psychotherapy training I attended the Gestalt Institute in NYC. This type of therapy focuses on how we experience emotions in the body. It is a present-centered form of therapy that is creative and can be highly individualized.
I have seen through experience, that mental health struggles for parents are far too common, but that with help, you will be well.
